Min Abajas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Min Abajas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Östra Frölunda made a substitution. Ingmar Kolberg replaced Mattias Ek. The supporters of Östra Frölunda booed when Sparka & Spring BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Min Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Pacholewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Rolfsson having to interfere. Artur Pacholewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Rolfsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Pacholewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Artur Pacholewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Pacholewski in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute Edvard Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Rolfsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Sparka & Spring BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Joakim Fagerberg in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sparka & Spring BK's Vincent Johnsson. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Roland Fogel made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Folke Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Pacholewski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Sven Rolfsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ingmar Kolberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Edvard Martinsson put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tor Jonsson. 75 minutes into the match, Edvard Martinsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson. Tor Jonsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vincent Johnsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Östra Frölunda's Jan Gerdberg tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Östra Frölunda booed when Sparka & Spring BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Min Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Folke Wallman in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sparka & Spring BK's Harald Josefsson. Sven Rolfsson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Artur Pacholewski sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Östra Frölunda fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sparka & Spring BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
