With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Berg in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Westerberg saved Megers Lärjungar from getting behind. Josef Hökkvist's late challenge caught a Megers Lärjungar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Hökkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Grusvägen AB's Josef Hökkvist got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Grusvägen AB defense, Martin Gustavsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Hultstrand. The Grusvägen AB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Hultstrand should have stopped the shot. Grusvägen AB's Josef Hökkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Klas Falck in the 19 minute of the game. Pelle Hjortberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes, Gösta Berg made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Megers Lärjungar's Henry Westerberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th match minute, Grusvägen AB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Berg to maneuver through the defense. Arne Hultstrand came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Megers Lärjungar's Martin Gustavsson. But to his dismay, Martin Gustavsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 48thth minute of the game Gösta Berg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Megers Lärjungar's Henry Westerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arne Hultstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Martin Gustavsson scored 3-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Hultstrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Grusvägen AB's Göran Gadd got a free kick in the 57th minute. Isaac Fristedt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arne Hultstrand. Grusvägen AB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grusvägen AB's Vilhelm Olofsson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Arne Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Fernström in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Knut Hammarbäck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Hultstrand. Grusvägen AB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knut Hammarbäck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Arne Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Gustavsson in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Olofsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grusvägen AB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Megers Lärjungar the free kick. Vilhelm Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Gösta Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Westerberg having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Grusvägen AB's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Gustavsson came free, but Arne Hultstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Hultstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Westerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Berg in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Megers Lärjungar had won after a very even match.
