Martin Aleberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Pauliström's Malcolm Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 齐奕宽 in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that 齐奕宽's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcolm Wall was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. A hard shot 15 in the game by Folke Melin from a close distance when the talented Martin Aleberg managed to make a qualified save. BK IF's players were relieved. Malcolm Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 齐奕宽, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes Pauliström's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Musa Sow who took care of the corner kick. Malcolm Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 齐奕宽 went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 齐奕宽 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonid Taratorin's late challenge caught a Pauliström's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonid Taratorin helped the player get up and apologised. Leonid Taratorin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the game, Musa Sow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pauliström the free kick. After 55 played minutes BK IF got a freekick which was hit by Musa Sow. Martin Aleberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Folke Melin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, BK IF's Konrad Björkdahl got a free kick in the 57th minute. Martin Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Axelsson in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, BK IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Taratorin to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, Pauliström's Ingvar Johansson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Aleberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonid Taratorin kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Albert Andberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Martin Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 齐奕宽 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pauliström booed when BK IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Vallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Musa Sow kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Martin Aleberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Folke Melin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pauliström's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Melin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Aleberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Björklund struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Martin Aleberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pauliström.
