The audience was convinced that Filip Speich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig Strömberg was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Stig Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franck Graziani, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 9 played minutes IFK Skillingenäs got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Sefastsson. Stig Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franck Graziani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rikard Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jan Lööf made a huge save. In the 17th minute August Springfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lööf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IFK Skillingenäs's Rikard Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Vilaça, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Dick Torsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Lööf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 许浩然 in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, IFK Skillingenäs's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Speich came free, but Stig Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Vilaça in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Strömberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gretchen AIS were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after IFK Skillingenäs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Franck Graziani took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Franck Graziani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stig Strömberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stig Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Speich, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, IFK Skillingenäs's Melker Holmberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Franck Graziani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Strömberg skillfully saved the ball. 36 minutes into the match, IFK Skillingenäs's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Vilaça came free, but Stig Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Lindgren in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig Strömberg saved IFK Skillingenäs from getting behind. Johny Dhondt hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gretchen AIS's zone, Otto Malm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Lööf came out of the goal and Otto Malm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lúcio Vilaça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gretchen AIS booed when IFK Skillingenäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Springfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Skillingenäs's zone, Paul Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Strömberg came out of the goal and Paul Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. IFK Skillingenäs's Stig Strömberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Skillingenäs from getting a goal against them. The tension between the IFK Skillingenäs and the Gretchen AIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes IFK Skillingenäs got a freekick which was hit by August Springfält. With an all-out effort, Gretchen AIS's Stig Strömberg threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lúcio Vilaça, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Örjan Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Skillingenäs's goalkeeper Stig Strömberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lúcio Vilaça in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig Strömberg saved IFK Skillingenäs from getting behind.
