The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ionuț Mincă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionuț Mincă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Ström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Elmtaryd Agunnaryd getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jörgen Vikström hit a great ball. In the 9th match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Markowski to maneuver through the defense. Albin Allbom charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Allbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes I uomo del popolo got a freekick which was hit by Albin Allbom. Arman Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Juračka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Martin Juračka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arman Ström. I uomo del popolo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Juračka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Aaron Ramsdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Wester in the 16th minute of play. Arman Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Juračka, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Martin Juračka had several of the I uomo del popolo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Arman Ström as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Martin Juračka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arman Ström was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Örjan Vall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Juračka was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Örtlund. 56 minutes into the match, I uomo del popolo's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Mincă came free, but Arman Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Håkan Skott 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Mincă in the 63rd minute of play forced I uomo del popolo's goalkeeper Arman Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Elliott Bergman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elmtaryd Agunnaryd and the I uomo del popolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Elliott Bergman got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Eddie Hake seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eddie Hake the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eddie Hake had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elmtaryd Agunnaryd! In the 71st minute of the match I uomo del popolo got a corner. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reine Örtlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led I uomo del popolo's Sten Forsberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Aaron Ramsdal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Per-Erik Wester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Sten Dum put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arman Ström. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd made a substitution. Marko Blom replaced Knut Rang. Per-Erik Wester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aaron Ramsdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Sten Dum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Dum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
