Bo Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Örtlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Linneryd's goalkeeper Bo Hellqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Örtlund. Reine Örtlund did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Bo Hellqvist 42 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

In the 65thth minute of the game Örjan Vall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linneryd's Bo Hellqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bo Hellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Skott in the 68th minute of play. Håkan Skott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bo Hellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo Hellqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Vall's shot from short distance in the 71st minute.
