Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zbyszek Bejrut started the match with the kick off. Jonas Ahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Veron, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Kling in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bo Askstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Simonsson's late challenge caught a IQ Badboll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Simonsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rydboholm's Edward Simonsson got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jonas Ahlström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszek Bejrut went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18thth minute of the game Erland Kjellbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IQ Badboll's Bo Askstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Veron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Gabriel Veron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IQ Badboll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Veron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Ahlström came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by IQ Badboll's Gabriel Veron. But to his dismay, Gabriel Veron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gabriel Veron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Ahlström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Kling in the 34th minute of play forced IQ Badboll's goalkeeper Bo Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Rydboholm were awarded a corner. Erland Kjellbom went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Rydboholm defense, Zbyszek Bejrut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Ahlström. The Rydboholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Ahlström should have stopped the shot. Zbyszek Bejrut might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Ahlström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszek Bejrut ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of IQ Badboll booed when Rydboholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rydboholm's Jonas Ahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Veron in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Kling made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, IQ Badboll's Zbyszek Bejrut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Ahlström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 58 minutes into the game, Jan Jakobsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rydboholm's Ian Åkesson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 64th minute, Jan Jakobsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonas Ahlström. The goal made the score 0-7. 70 minutes into the game, Conny Kling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rydboholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IQ Badboll the free kick. The supporters of Rydboholm booed when IQ Badboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Rydboholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Lind to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Ahlström made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gabriel Veron sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute of the game Ian Åkesson made a throw-in which Erland Kjellbom played forward. Jonas Ahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Veron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Veron came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonas Ahlström could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erland Kjellbom in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bo Askstedt saved IQ Badboll from getting behind. In the 94th minute Zbyszek Bejrut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The IQ Badboll supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IQ Badboll would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
