In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Västerhaninge IFK's goalkeeper Roger Dahlkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Snell to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Västerhaninge IFK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Roy Wallman hit a great ball. A hard shot by Brian Thorsberg from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Roger Dahlkvist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 86thth minute of the game Mattias Snell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Västerhaninge IFK's Roger Dahlkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hannes Hedström came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roger Dahlkvist could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Mattias Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anfield Road's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Snell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Dahlkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Västerhaninge IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Snell came free, but Roger Dahlkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Anfield Road could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Västerhaninge IFK throughout the match.
