Rydboholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harads the free kick. The supporters of Harads booed when Rydboholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Mellberg during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan Mellberg hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rydboholm's Erland Kjellbom couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Harads. The supporters of Harads booed when Rydboholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Simonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Ahlström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Stenberg in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Rydboholm's goalkeeper Jonas Ahlström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Stenberg. Conny Kling's late challenge caught a Harads's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conny Kling helped the player get up and apologised. Conny Kling hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Rydboholm got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Lind. If Bertil Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Ahlström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Bergman in the 32nd minute. Conny Kling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Guillelmo having to interfere. Angel Guillelmo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rydboholm's Conny Kling shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Bergman in the 46th minute of play forced Rydboholm's goalkeeper Jonas Ahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rydboholm getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fritz Lind hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Bergman to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Ivar Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Rydboholm's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Stenberg came free, but Jonas Ahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Ahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Bergman in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rydboholm's Karl Söderberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rydboholm's goalkeeper Jonas Ahlström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Ivar Stenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Bertil Bergman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harads fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Per-Åke Boström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Ahlström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Rydboholm's Jonas Ahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Bergman in the 78th minute of play. Gustaf Kuse made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rydboholm's Max Dahlman. After having played for 81 minutes, Max Dahlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydboholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Dahlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Stenberg in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Ahlström saved Rydboholm from getting behind. Conny Kling was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th minute, Conny Kling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Stenberg in the 87th minute of play forced Rydboholm's goalkeeper Jonas Ahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Rydboholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Kjellbom to maneuver through the defense. Rydboholm's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
