Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Conny Kling got the match started through his kick off. Fritz Lind hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Västerhaninge IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Alkvist to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Västerhaninge IFK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Henrik Sjögren hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Kling in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Dahlkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Roger Dahlkvist throw himself and got hold of the ball when Conny Kling in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 20th minute August Dalkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Dahlkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Kling, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rydboholm were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Västerhaninge IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erland Kjellbom took the corner. After 28 minutes, Evert Kjellberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västerhaninge IFK and the Rydboholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evert Kjellberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jonas Ahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Dalkvist in the 30th minute of play. Roger Dahlkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Kling's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Fritz Lind might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Dahlkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fritz Lind ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Kling in the 37th minute of play forced Västerhaninge IFK's goalkeeper Roger Dahlkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bengt-Åke Nyström fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västerhaninge IFK's protests and gave Bengt-Åke Nyström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Conny Kling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Västerhaninge IFK's Roger Dahlkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Conny Kling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Dahlkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and August Dalkvist made a kick off. Roger Dahlkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Kling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conny Kling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Dahlkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Roy Wallman kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The Rydboholm fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Rydboholm's Conny Kling looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Conny Kling scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Dahlkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Kling in the 78th minute of play forced Västerhaninge IFK's goalkeeper Roger Dahlkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Dahlkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Kling's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Rydboholm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erland Kjellbom in the 91st minute. Erland Kjellbom made a great header on Rydboholm's corner, it was just that Västerhaninge IFK's Roger Dahlkvist managed to reach the ball for a save.
