The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lars Jonasson's late challenge caught a Eciit FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes WEST SIDE INDIANS got a freekick which was hit by Lars Jonasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Lundblad in the 18th minute of play forced WEST SIDE INDIANS's goalkeeper Egon Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Eciit FC's Lucas Berg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egon Wennerqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Berg in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egon Wennerqvist saved WEST SIDE INDIANS from getting behind. Egon Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Robin Lundblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eciit FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Lundblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Eciit FC's Robin Lundblad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eciit FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Lundblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, Eciit FC's Lucas Berg made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egon Wennerqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Egon Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in WEST SIDE INDIANS's zone, Bengt-Arne Hansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Hansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Lucas Berg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Wennerqvist was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Lucas Berg sped through WEST SIDE INDIANS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egon Wennerqvist. The Eciit FC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Eciit FC's Lucas Berg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eciit FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
