This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Börge Nyberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. 23 minutes into the game, Matthias Andersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holmsveden IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skillinge the free kick. If Per-Oskar Rolfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Olofsson in the 28th minute of play forced Skillinge's goalkeeper Viktor Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Skillinge got a corner. Holmsveden IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michel Bohlin's late challenge caught a Holmsveden IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Bohlin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skillinge getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Michel Bohlin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsveden IFK's zone, Michel Bohlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börge Nyberg came out of the goal and Michel Bohlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Arne Gustavsson was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Skillinge's goalkeeper Viktor Spetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksander Brummer. After having played for 56 minutes, Per-Oskar Rolfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skillinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Oskar Rolfsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skillinge were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Holmsveden IFK for a fine match.
