Leo Bengtsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uno Larsson. In the 23rd minute, Karl Ahlbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leksands Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 26 minutes, Philip Grönberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The supporters of Bacardi Juniors booed when Leksands Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Bacardi Juniors's Karl Öberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Johan Siöman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leksands Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Siöman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After taking down the ball on Leksands Boys's corner Fabio Cannavaro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doriva de Godoi quite easily take care of the ball.
