Nils-Åke Hedvall hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Nils-Åke Hedvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Serwacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffer Vennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Campodónico having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Maarten Mur made a precise shot to the right of Boruc Serwacki. FC Porto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Anton Rudqvist put in a rough tackle. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Porto! Jonas Kvarnström walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Boruc Serwacki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Åke Hedvall went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 24 played minutes Nils-Åke Hedvall rounded FC Porto's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Boruc Serwacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Mur in the 26th minute of the match. Boruc Serwacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Ekström in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Hedvall in the 31st minute of play forced FC Porto's goalkeeper Boruc Serwacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Nils-Åke Hedvall took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Boruc Serwacki to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute, Edgar Blomqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Porto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Ekström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mockfjärd's Giuseppe Sá got a free kick in the 76th minute. Kåre Kjellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Sonny Larsson charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Larsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Mockfjärd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Larsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd match minute, FC Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Wikander to maneuver through the defense. Mockfjärd made a substitution. Michel Wenerdahl replaced Jonas Kvarnström. The supporters of Mockfjärd booed when FC Porto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mockfjärd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
