Zsigmond Túri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Donald Trump shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Túri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Snavlunda Lightnings's zone, Martin Bergsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Haegg came out of the goal and Martin Bergsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Nils-Erik Björklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bo Haegg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Balla Gubbar IF were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Snavlunda Lightnings's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henrik Olsman took the corner. The corner led Balla Gubbar IF's Henrik Olsman to fire away a dangerous shot which Bo Haegg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peter Kielstedt came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bo Haegg could save by the left post. Conny Vallmark scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zsigmond Túri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Snavlunda Lightnings's goalkeeper Bo Haegg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Smefeldt. Zsigmond Túri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Vallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Smefeldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bo Haegg could save by the left post. In the 38thth minute of the game Donald Trump who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balla Gubbar IF's Zsigmond Túri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Peter Kielstedt fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balla Gubbar IF's protests and gave Peter Kielstedt a yellow card for diving instead. Peter Kielstedt hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Snavlunda Lightnings's Conny Vallmark got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bo Haegg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bergsten in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Balla Gubbar IF defense, Conny Vallmark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zsigmond Túri. The Balla Gubbar IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zsigmond Túri should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Vallmark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Balla Gubbar IF got a freekick which was hit by Josef Bojko. In the 52nd minute, Alvar Hägglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Bergsten charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Bergsten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Balla Gubbar IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bergsten to maneuver through the defense. Zsigmond Túri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donald Trump in the 59th minute. Gustaf Pålsson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Balla Gubbar IF booed when Snavlunda Lightnings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sivert Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ordered Martin Bergsten off the ground. After a rather tough play, Balla Gubbar IF's Martin Bergsten got a free kick in the 84th minute. Dan Smefeldt struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Bo Haegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balla Gubbar IF. In the 92nd match minute, Balla Gubbar IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Bojko to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Snavlunda Lightnings's Jorginho Garcia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dan Smefeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Haegg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Snavlunda Lightnings left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Balla Gubbar IF.
