Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Alström started the match with the kick off. Boris Bern kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. A collision led to Festis BK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ali Kurd hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Festis BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Jens-Ove Gallberg had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Robert Alström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ivar Mellin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Jens-Ove Gallberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Robert Alström took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ove Gallberg. Jens-Ove Gallberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With an all-out effort, Gothia AIS's Jens-Ove Gallberg threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boris Bern, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute Boris Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ove Gallberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Alström in the 29th minute of the match. Festis BK's attentive Alvar Holmgren managed to snatch the ball when Jimmy Wallengren made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Jens-Ove Gallberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Mellin in the 40th minute. Festis BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Boris Bern scored to the left of an out of position Jens-Ove Gallberg, making the score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sture Dahlberg was the one to do the kick off. Gothia AIS's Gösta Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Björk in the 52nd minute of play. Jens-Ove Gallberg came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Gothia AIS's Robert Alström. But to his dismay, Robert Alström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jens-Ove Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Bern in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Festis BK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Holmgren. A sloppy throw-in by Dag Dahlbom in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Festis BK's Fritz Stålman. Festis BK's Jens-Ove Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Mellin in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Festis BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ove Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Ros in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Robert Alström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Festis BK booed when Gothia AIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Stolpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gothia AIS had won after a very even match.
