Spectators: 7535 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 10) Marc Ahlstedt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gösta Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Gai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gösta Lindström was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Luís Franco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Franco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gösta Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Gai in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Gothia AIS got a corner. Näshulta FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boris Bern ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gothia AIS's corner Ivar Mellin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erland Spetz quite easily take care of the ball. Näshulta FK's Erland Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Alström in the 27th minute of play. Gothia AIS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boris Bern in the 28th minute. Axel Forsman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Erland Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Alström in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Näshulta FK's Luís Franco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gösta Lindström. Gösta Lindström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Miguel Gai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gösta Lindström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Näshulta FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Marc Ahlstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Lindström was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Erland Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Mellin in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Xalbador Sparke made a precise shot to the right of Gösta Lindström. Gothia AIS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gai in the 55th minute of play forced Gothia AIS's goalkeeper Gösta Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xalbador Sparke came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Näshulta FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xalbador Sparke couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Gothia AIS got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Ros. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Erland Spetz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 67th minute, Xalbador Sparke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes of play, Näshulta FK's Miguel Gai made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Lindström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 played minutes Ivar Mellin rounded Näshulta FK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-2. Gösta Lindström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xalbador Sparke's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Xalbador Sparke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gothia AIS's Gösta Lindström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Alström hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Gothia AIS's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Eriksson came free, but Gösta Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Miguel Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xalbador Sparke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gösta Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gothia AIS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Näshulta FK.
