Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hjalmar Smefeldt started the match with the kick off. Cream Fc.'s Hjalmar Smefeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börge Almqvist during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Fjollboll getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Börge Almqvist hit a great ball. Hjalmar Smefeldt took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Ove Ekegren. Karl-Ove Ekegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hjalmar Smefeldt had several of the FC Fjollboll's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Karl-Ove Ekegren as he didn't even see the shot coming. Örjan Tinglöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Ove Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galen Fågel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nicklas Norberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Karl-Ove Ekegren made a huge save. Florian Lucantoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Åkerström in the 22nd minute of the match. Hjalmar Smefeldt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 24th playminute. Hjalmar Smefeldt struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Karl-Ove Ekegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cream Fc.. Karl-Ove Ekegren was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Hjalmar Smefeldt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hjalmar Smefeldt really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Gustaf Hedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Ekegren having to interfere. Per Åkerström charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Åkerström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Fjollboll's Per Åkerström got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Åkerström to strike the kick off in the second half. Hjalmar Smefeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Karl-Ove Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Nicklas Norberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Ove Ekegren. FC Fjollboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicklas Norberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Hjalmar Smefeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Ove Ekegren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match, Börge Almqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florian Lucantoni saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute, Hjalmar Smefeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cream Fc. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Florian Lucantoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Björkman in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, FC Fjollboll's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Norberg came free, but Karl-Ove Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, FC Fjollboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Smitt to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Smitt hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Isac Stenberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Ove Ekegren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Galen Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Fjollboll's Karl-Ove Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Smefeldt in the 92nd minute of play. Cream Fc.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
