In the 9th minute João Mira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Strömqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Jonasson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jörgen Lennartsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Kisiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medelpad U21's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Viggo Brandin charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Mira was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Julian Kisiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medelpad U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 85th minute Manny Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Lennartsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Håkan Gudmundsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Magnus Strömqvist. Medelpad U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Gudmundsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Bräcke ff's Isaac Örnberg was substituted for Anton Eliasson. After 94 minutes of play, Medelpad U21's Manny Gol made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Lennartsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bräcke ff's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
