The Helsingborgs IF fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Helsingborgs IF's Karl-Ove Malm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 6th minute, Karl-Ove Malm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johan Eriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Johan Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Helsingborgs IF's Karl-Ove Malm made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Eriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in BK Klackspark's zone, Karl-Ove Malm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Eriksson came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Malm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Calle Gustafsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Helsingborgs IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Jørund Leira charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jørund Leira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BK Klackspark booed when Helsingborgs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jørund Leira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Malm in the 27th minute of play. BK Klackspark's Johan Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Malm in the 29th minute of play. Johan Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Helsingborgs IF's Karl-Ove Malm in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Klackspark's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Malm notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of BK Klackspark's Johan Eriksson. Johan Eriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agne Pihl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Hans Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Johan Eriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helsingborgs IF. Johan Eriksson came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Helsingborgs IF's Karl-Ove Malm. But to his dismay, Karl-Ove Malm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Sonny Fanström kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Sonny Fanström hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half Helsingborgs IF were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agne Pihl to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in BK Klackspark's zone, Erik-Jan Vloebergh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Eriksson came out of the goal and Erik-Jan Vloebergh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BK Klackspark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Karl-Ove Malm scored to the left of an out of position Johan Eriksson, making the score, 0-8. Johan Eriksson made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Karl-Ove Malm sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd match minute, Helsingborgs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik-Jan Vloebergh to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Malm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johan Eriksson. BK Klackspark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Ove Malm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. 76 minutes into the match, BK Klackspark's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Malm came free, but Johan Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Hermansson in the 77th minute of the match. Johan Eriksson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Karl-Ove Malm sent off a good shot on target. Albin Bergfelt charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Bergfelt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Albin Bergfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard, long distance shot from Roland Melander flew over the goal. With a little luck, BK Klackspark's Johan Eriksson got control of the ball when Karl-Ove Malm tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Hans Hermansson took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Johan Eriksson to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Melander in the 90th minute of play forced Helsingborgs IF's goalkeeper Oscar Rosin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Lamb hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes BK Klackspark got a freekick which was hit by Per Larsson. With an all-out effort, Helsingborgs IF's Johan Eriksson threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans Hermansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
