Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Blågula BollAtleter from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute, Stefan Bogren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tom Vandendriessche. The goal made the score 1-0. Tom Vandendriessche was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dariusz Puchlik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. After some careless play in the Blågula BollAtleter defense, Stefan Bogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Vandendriessche. The Blågula BollAtleter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Vandendriessche should have stopped the shot. Tom Vandendriessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bogren in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Blågula BollAtleter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Reintjes to maneuver through the defense. Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Mårtensson in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Blågula BollAtleter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Larsson in the 26th minute of play. When Lidköping's Stefan Bogren in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blågula BollAtleter's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Lidköping's Stig Söderquist got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 44th minute of the match Blågula BollAtleter got a corner. Lidköping's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Biörling ran over to the corner to take the kick. Blågula BollAtleter's Tomas Biörling was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristoffer Västerstrand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 47th minute, Filip Reintjes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Bergkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand got control of the ball when Allan Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Larsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristoffer Västerstrand came out and tried to block the shot, but Allan Larsson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 63rd minute. Blågula BollAtleter's Fritz Högberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Per-Åke Myr in the 70 minute of the game. Stefan Bogren scored 4-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Vandendriessche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Stefan Bogren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Vandendriessche. Blågula BollAtleter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Bogren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Stefan Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Åke Myr got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Allan Björk. Kristoffer Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lidköping's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Biörling was slow to take the kick. During this time Blågula BollAtleter's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fritz Högberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristoffer Västerstrand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Adam Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Larsson in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lidköping's Leo Olsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lidköping made a substitution. Orvar Moberg replaced Per-Åke Myr. The supporters of Blågula BollAtleter booed when Lidköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Henry Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lidköping had played much better football throughout.
