In the 11th minute Folke Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Enström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrice Coker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Skoglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Enström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Folke Skoglund ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrice Coker, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Alexander Isak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harald Fridlund. Alexander Isak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, The Green Fairies's Doru Răuțchi got a free kick in the 26th minute. Terrence Jodoin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Anton Bark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, David Hedman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Storebro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Lindholm came free, but Andreas Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Storebro IF's Andreas Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrice Coker in the 35th minute of play. Andreas Enström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Folke Skoglund's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Leonardo Lindholm took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Enström. Andreas Enström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Mossberg was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alexander Isak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storebro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Isak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Fridlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Storebro IF's Enerik Valencia was substituted for Claes Nord. Andreas Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrice Coker in the 62nd minute of play. Vincent Mossberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Storebro IF booed when The Green Fairies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Răuțchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Fridlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Isak's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Storebro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Patrice Coker came free, but Andreas Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Enström stood somewhat misplaced when Vincent Mossberg came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Alexander Isak kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Storebro IF got a freekick which was hit by Anton Bark. The Green Fairies's David Hedman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Andreas Enström but with some difficulty. In the 86th minute Enerik Valencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Fridlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Enström made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Patrice Coker sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Isak struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Harald Fridlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storebro IF. Alexander Isak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harald Fridlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Isak in the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Green Fairies walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
