Bruno Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ginlabbet Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Ek came free, but Karl-Åke Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Ginlabbet Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Ursino Fuente. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Lorien got free with Karl-Åke Sandström in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Ginlabbet Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Ålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristoffer Ek made a kick off. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save NovaStella FK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Lorien in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Åke Sandström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play.
