The supporters of FC Shed End booed when STHLM södra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Laudrup didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Shed End getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Corrêa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Shed End's Leonardo Axelsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Aykutalp Ezgü took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddie Soned. Freddie Soned dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andréas Blom hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Aykutalp Ezgü blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddie Soned having to make a save. Freddie Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykutalp Ezgü in the 29th minute of play. Andréas Blom made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vedad Ibišević however managed to control. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aykutalp Ezgü sped through STHLM södra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddie Soned. Freddie Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykutalp Ezgü in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Shed End's Tobias Holmberg got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Thomas Case had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aykutalp Ezgü made a kick off. When FC Shed End's Aykutalp Ezgü in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STHLM södra's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aykutalp Ezgü in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Soned saved STHLM södra from getting behind. 54 minutes in the game, Aykutalp Ezgü dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Case in the 58th minute of play forced FC Shed End's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talip Taşan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Shed End's Talip Taşan got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aykutalp Ezgü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Shed End's Silvestre Gar was substituted for Aykutalp Ezgü. 85 minutes into the game, STHLM södra's Thomas Case nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Ove Hedkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 90thth minute of the game Talip Taşan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STHLM södra's Freddie Soned was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the STHLM södra defense, Nigg Erek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddie Soned. The STHLM södra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddie Soned should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, STHLM södra's Freddie Soned got control of the ball when Silvestre Gar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 minutes STHLM södra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rikard Wahlnäs who took care of the corner kick. If Luís Gustavo Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The FC Shed End supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Shed End would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
