Rolf Pihlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by André Törnqvist in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brutal DeLuxe's Kim Deckbergh. Rolf Pihlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Albohm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Brovall kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Woopbongo's Mats Holmgren got control of the ball when Jimmie Vibjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Ola Håkansson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Woopbongo's Mats Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Beckman in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Blom got free with Mats Holmgren in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolf Pihlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the game, Woopbongo's Ola Håkansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolf Pihlgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Ola Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Vibjörnsson in the 56th minute of the match. Mats Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Brutal DeLuxe's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Rolf Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Blom in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. In the 69th minute, Olle Jönsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. With a little luck, Brutal DeLuxe's Rolf Pihlgren got control of the ball when Cornel Daimacă tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Jimmie Vibjörnsson notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Woopbongo's Mats Holmgren. Mats Holmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Albohm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Rolf Pihlgren made a huge save. In the 79th minute Woopbongo were awarded a corner. Edgar Albohm went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brutal DeLuxe's goalie and right to Pawel Lerych. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brutal DeLuxe's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ola Håkansson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brutal DeLuxe! In the 98thth minute of the game Ola Håkansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brutal DeLuxe's Rolf Pihlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brutal DeLuxe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Woopbongo for a fine match.
