With a little luck, AC United's Alf Engman got control of the ball when Richard Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Henley Utd's Rasmus Mårtensson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Engman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Henley Utd's Joakim Bergsten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alf Engman. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. 17 minutes into the match, Orvar Fribäck notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Henley Utd's Edvin Jonsson. Edvin Jonsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Engman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richarlison de Andrade went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alf Engman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasmus Mårtensson in the 32nd minute. Henley Utd's Edvin Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lindman in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Richarlison de Andrade came free, but Alf Engman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Jonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Olofsson in the 36th minute of the match. Rasmus Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Engman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Rune Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Engman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richarlison de Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Alf Engman came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Henley Utd's Rasmus Mårtensson. But to his dismay, Rasmus Mårtensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Gösta Kvalfält kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Henley Utd were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after AC United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hannes Kjellqvist took the corner. Rasmus Mårtensson made a great header on Henley Utd's corner, it was just that AC United's Alf Engman managed to reach the ball for a save. 68 minutes into the match, Henley Utd's Joakim Bergsten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Engman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alf Engman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Tunström came free, but Alf Engman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Lindman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC United's Maman Sandiaji was substituted for Erland Norberg.
