In the 83rd minute, AC United's Rune Olofsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jörgen Lindkvist. Jörgen Lindkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 87 minutes into the game, Konrad Nyman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Alf Engman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Näver in the 92nd minute of play forced Juventus FC's goalkeeper Jörgen Lindkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Enström came free, but Jörgen Lindkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
