Fang Xing Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Carlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The Rossoneri XI fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Rossoneri XI's Mehmet Özdilek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alf Engman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Özdilek in the 21st minute of play. Fang Xing Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Carlberg in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Rossoneri XI's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Carlberg came free, but Fang Xing Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fang Xing Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Carlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Rossoneri XI's Georg Simonsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Engman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alf Engman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Simonsson in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Rossoneri XI got a corner. AC United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Winford McGraw ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Rossoneri XI getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Georg Simonsson hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Rune Olofsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fang Xing Ang. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 38th minute Torsten Giliusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Engman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Rune Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fang Xing Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Mehmet Özdileks short, quick shot in the 50thth minute got Alf Engman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rossoneri XI were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after AC United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Winford McGraw took the corner. Mehmet Özdilek took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Engman. Alf Engman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Fang Xing Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lindman in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Rossoneri XI got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Soveral. After having played for 72 minutes, Georg Simonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossoneri XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Simonsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maman Sandiaji didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Mehmet Özdilek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alf Engman. AC United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Özdilek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. With a little luck, AC United's Alf Engman got control of the ball when Mehmet Özdilek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alf Engman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Simonsson in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Olofsson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fang Xing Ang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute Elof Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fang Xing Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ma Feng Kuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Rossoneri XI's Winford McGraw shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alf Engman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rossoneri XI reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lindman in the 92nd minute of play forced Rossoneri XI's goalkeeper Fang Xing Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The AC United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rossoneri XI's performance. The match ended with a win for Rossoneri XI.
