Kjell Enström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Carl-Chester Vallgren made a huge save. After 7 played minutes Klubben got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Estebano. 12 minutes into the game, VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tage Lööf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pacorro Sisquella in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl-Chester Vallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Klubben's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Johnsson came free, but Tage Lööf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Lööf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes Klubben's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Torbjörn Grönlund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Torbjörn Grönlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tage Lööf quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iwan Januszewski spun around in front of the goal 35 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of VBL Stockholm's goal. Eerik Lilleorg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Lööf having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Ulrik Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Ulrik Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Januszewski in the 53rd minute of play forced VBL Stockholm's goalkeeper Carl-Chester Vallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Pacorro Sisquella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Januszewski in the 74th minute of the match. Klubben's Tage Lööf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Johnsson in the 76th minute of play. Tage Lööf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Johnsson in the 80th minute of play. James Justin lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 79th minute, one of Klubben:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Klubben. Torbjörn Grönlund walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to VBL Stockholm getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Åström hit a great ball. Tage Lööf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Johnsson in the 90th minute of play. Tage Lööf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Johnsson in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Klubben getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Peder Björling hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
