Spectators: 7994 (Terracing: 5997, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Aston Villa FC's Nils-Åke Gunnarsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Börje Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Smed came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Aston Villa FC's Nils-Åke Gunnarsson. But to his dismay, Nils-Åke Gunnarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. IFK United's Benjamin Smed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Forsberg in the 6th minute of play. IFK United's Torbjörn Eklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filiph Hägg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th minute, Joel Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Smed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merrill Pryor in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Aston Villa FC's Tim Lund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Smed made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Börje Kvick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filiph Hägg. That made the score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. Benjamin Smed came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Aston Villa FC's Tim Lund. But to his dismay, Tim Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in IFK United's zone, Merrill Pryor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Smed came out of the goal and Merrill Pryor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Nils-Åke Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johnny Skark to make the kick off. 2-3 became the score in the 51st minute when Agne Hake elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Agne Hake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiph Hägg. Aston Villa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agne Hake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Tim Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Tim Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Forsberg in the 64th minute of play forced IFK United's goalkeeper Benjamin Smed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Thidén charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilhelm Thidén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, IFK United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Thidén to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to IFK United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vilhelm Thidén hit a great ball. Nils-Åke Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Börje Kvick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Agne Hake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, IFK United's Benjamin Smed got control of the ball when Tim Lund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börje Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiph Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Skark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aston Villa FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing IFK United to leave the ground with a draw.
