Spectators: 8023 (Terracing: 6019, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramiro Quintanilha kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's Tor Olofsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Shilton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Max Östman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Italiano booed when Mansfield Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Sandell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Joseph Låsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mansfield Town FC the free kick. Joseph Låsberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Peter Shilton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Sandell in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Tor Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italiano's Peter Shilton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Shilton made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Maximilian Seger sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Tor Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Joseph Låsberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg. Hampus Gallberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Italiano defense, Tor Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Shilton. The Italiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Shilton should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Peter Shilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Shilton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Sandell went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Andreas Sandell might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Shilton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Sandell ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mansfield Town FC's Tor Olofsson in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italiano's goalie prevented a goal. Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Helge Stenberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hampus Gallberg, 5-2. Hampus Gallberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Quintanilha in the 75th minute. Peter Shilton came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Mansfield Town FC's Andreas Sandell. But to his dismay, Andreas Sandell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Mansfield Town FC's Martin Wennerquist was substituted for Ingvar Häger. In the 86th match minute, Mansfield Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Armando Maradona. After 92 played minutes Mansfield Town FC got a freekick which was hit by Luigi Elin.
