After taking down the ball on Mellansels stationsgäng's corner Sven-Ove Eliasson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esbjörn Tunander quite easily take care of the ball. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Tidén in the 24th minute of play. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Bäck in the 25th minute of the match. Lars Tidén took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Tunander. Esbjörn Tunander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 31 minutes, Sten Isaksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lövstalöt BK and the Mellansels stationsgäng players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Lars Tidén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lövstalöt BK's zone, Lars Tidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Tunander came out of the goal and Lars Tidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Lövstalöt BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mellansels stationsgäng were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
