Emanuel Emander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elliot Norström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, FC Zenit Saint Petersburg's goal looked a bit too open when Sun Lightfoot came free, but Zafer Hürsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Elliot Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Kjellman in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Sun Lightfoot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
