The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Mountainhammer United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rickard Bäckman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Mountainhammer United defense, Sten Gunnarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roar Klev. The Mountainhammer United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roar Klev should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Tony Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roar Klev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Bäckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Björck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morre BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bo Björck was slow to take the kick. During this time Mountainhammer United's players had a chance to rest. Arne Backs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Rickard Bäckman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute Ernesto Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roar Klev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roar Klev came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Morre BK's Ernesto Iaki. But to his dismay, Ernesto Iaki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 21stth minute of the game Sten Gunnarsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mountainhammer United's Roar Klev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roar Klev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Roger Eriksson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Rickard Bäckman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roger Erikssons short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Rickard Bäckman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ludomil Bucyki hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Iaki in the 34th minute of play forced Mountainhammer United's goalkeeper Roar Klev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Mountainhammer United got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Bucyki. In the 46th minute, Tony Mårtensson made a precise shot to the right of Roar Klev. Mountainhammer United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Iaki made a kick off. Rickard Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Eriksson in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Mountainhammer United were awarded a corner. Bo Björck went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mountainhammer United's Henric Bållström to a score. 1-3 in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Back in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Bäckman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Arne Back sped through Morre BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rickard Bäckman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Mårtensson got free with Roar Klev in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mountainhammer United's Roar Klev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Mountainhammer United from getting a goal against them. 姚正延 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Roar Klev made a huge save.
