Kronan's Vilhelm Brander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Kronan from getting a goal against them. In the 41st match minute, Kronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Vallin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frans Esbjörnsson got free with Vilhelm Brander in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the game, Bror Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1.
