An unexpectedly hard shot by Intriago Haza in the 5th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Näver came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Extra Elvan's Intriago Haza. But to his dismay, Intriago Haza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Extra Elvan's Calle Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Alström in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Extra Elvan's zone, Mikael Juhlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calle Spetz came out of the goal and Mikael Juhlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björn Pihlgren hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Calle Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Alström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Kent Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Esbjörnsson in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in INIXET BK's zone, Cyryl Golaszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Näver came out of the goal and Cyryl Golaszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Intriago Haza in the 28th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Sören Gregersson in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sören Gregersson got free with Calle Spetz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calle Spetz made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Thomas Söderquist sent off a good shot on target. Calle Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Söderquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Extra Elvan were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 95thth minute of the game Peder Alström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Extra Elvan's Calle Spetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Extra Elvan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
