With a little luck, Moodys IF's Azam Sum got control of the ball when David Dalgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kronan's Jens-Ove Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabás Selymes in the 4th minute of play. If Boris Browald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Camille Drame put in a rough tackle. In the 17th minute of the match Kjell-Arne Åberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ove Gallberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by David Dalgren from a close distance when the talented Azam Sum managed to make a qualified save. Moodys IF's players were relieved. Moodys IF's Azam Sum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Moodys IF from getting a goal against them. After 22 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Bror Lundqvist. 28 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Brian May came free, but Jens-Ove Gallberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moodys IF's zone, David Dalgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azam Sum came out of the goal and David Dalgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Ove Gallberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabás Selymes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ove Gallberg came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Moodys IF's Brian May. But to his dismay, Brian May quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. David Dalgrens short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Azam Sum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Jens-Ove Gallberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian May, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes Kronan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kjell-Arne Åberg who took care of the corner kick. Azam Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Dalgren in the 54th minute of play. The Kronan fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Kronan's David Dalgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bror Lundqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azam Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Kronan's Jens-Ove Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabás Selymes in the 71st minute of play. Jens-Ove Gallberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabás Selymes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kronan made a substitution. John Eliasson replaced Rolf Apelqvist. In the 77th minute Kronan were awarded a corner. Bror Lundqvist went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Kronan's corner Bror Lundqvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Azam Sum quite easily take care of the ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Brian May tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens-Ove Gallberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jens-Ove Gallberg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Kjell-Arne Åberg sent off a good shot on target. Moodys IF's Azam Sum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Mikaelsson in the 84th minute of play. The Moodys IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kronan from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
