The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jonstorp FK booed when FC Pink Panthers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Bergfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Ove Springfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. FC Pink Panthers were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Jonstorp FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Mattei took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Carl Åkerström heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jonstorp FK's Jan-Ove Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Bergman in the 14th minute of play. Ahmet Kanber made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Åke Bodin sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Ove Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Åkerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes Jonstorp FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Mattei who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to FC Pink Panthers getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gabriel Back hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, FC Pink Panthers's goalkeeper Ahmet Kanber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludwig Vollander. Jonstorp FK were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after FC Pink Panthers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jem Kura took the corner. Jonstorp FK's Jan-Ove Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Åkerström in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Bergman in the 28th minute of play forced Jonstorp FK's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Pink Panthers's Arne Bergman in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jonstorp FK's goalie prevented a goal. Jan-Ove Springfält stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Bergman's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Claes Salqvist scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Ove Springfält, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Kanber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Rosén, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by Fredrik Soned from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Kanber managed to make a qualified save. FC Pink Panthers's players were relieved. A collision led to FC Pink Panthers getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Harry Bergfeldt hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, FC Pink Panthers's goalkeeper Ahmet Kanber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Rosén. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ahmet Kanber came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Jonstorp FK's Augusto Teyo. But to his dismay, Augusto Teyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Erik Bern got free with Jan-Ove Springfält in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes of play, FC Pink Panthers's Arne Bergman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Ove Springfält was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonstorp FK's Ruben Ler was substituted for Fredrik Soned. Ahmet Kanber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Teyo in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pink Panthers's goalkeeper Ahmet Kanber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Kanber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Teyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Augusto Teyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ahmet Kanber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Teyo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ahmet Kanber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonstorp FK. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
