Axel Pååk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tony Hallgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Hallgren in the 42nd minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Axel Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Pååk made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Tony Hallgren sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tony Hallgren made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Axel Pååk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute of the match Frogner got a corner. IFK Göteborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tony Hallgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Axel Pååk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Hallgren went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Hallgren in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Pååk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Göteborg's zone, Tony Hallgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Pååk came out of the goal and Tony Hallgren tried to chip the ball over his head. After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Tony Hallgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Pååk. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Pååk should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Tony Hallgren sped through IFK Göteborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Axel Pååk. After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Tony Hallgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Pååk. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Pååk should have stopped the shot. Frogner made a substitution. Adrian Sikström replaced Allan Kilstedt. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Tony Hallgren sped through IFK Göteborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Axel Pååk. Axel Pååk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Hallgren's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Tony Hallgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Pååk. IFK Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Hallgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. In the 94thth minute of the game Tony Hallgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Göteborg's Axel Pååk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Gunnarsson came free, but Axel Pååk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Frogner were the better team. Frogner's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
