The supporters of Idrottsklubben -03 booed when LeicestersKickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiki Monginsidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, LeicestersKickers's Per-Åke Vedholm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Janne Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Odén in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Kellbom made a kick off. John Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kristian Törnqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Idrottsklubben -03's Erling Falkrantz got a free kick in the 59th minute. Rigoberto Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak got control of the ball when Fred Salkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. LeicestersKickers's Hampus Dahlman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Timmy Pihlwall, made in the 73rd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, LeicestersKickers's Macho Mann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Törnqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in John Kellbom almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist did a great save. After 77th play minutes John Kellbom shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Kristian Törnqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. John Kellbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Törnqvist having to make a save. Kristian Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Vedholm in the 85th minute of play.
