After taking down the ball on Mantorp's corner Edvard Palmkvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Johnny Kopp quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Kryspin Budzyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sven-Olof Gummeson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match, Sven-Edvin Henriksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnny Kopp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of FC Talanglös booed when Mantorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball.
