The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute Anton Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Anton Bokelund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claes Stålberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dag Liljeström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Claes Stålberg made a huge save. Örtomta Legends's Claes Stålberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Örtomta Legends from getting a goal against them. In the 22ndth minute of the game Anšlavs Karcirvis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Friedenheim 06's Adam Olsman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Anšlavs Karcirvis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Olsman was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Anton Bokelund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Claes Stålberg made a huge save. Edgar-Allan Poe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Olsman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Bokelund got free with Claes Stålberg in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Örtomta Legends's goalkeeper Claes Stålberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Bokelund. Anton Bokelund spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Örtomta Legends's goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Edgar-Allan Poe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Örtomta Legends's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar-Allan Poe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Bokelund to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Claes Bohlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, FC Friedenheim 06's Claes Bohlin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Olsman made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Edgar-Allan Poe sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Örtomta Legends's goalkeeper Claes Stålberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Claes Bohlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Stålberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
