The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Wetterqvist Boys BK's Östen Holmberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Bruno Troiani came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC Underdogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Troiani couldn't finish the play. Sverker Blomberg struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lennart Browall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wetterqvist Boys BK. The supporters of FC Underdogs booed when Wetterqvist Boys BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Bergfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Browall didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Wetterqvist Boys BK's Gustaf Snell shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 27th minute Bruno Troiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Dahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniele Cimino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Troiani in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Låsberg in the 39th minute of play forced FC Underdogs's goalkeeper Lennart Browall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Browall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Snell in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Wetterqvist Boys BK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniele Cimino to make the kick off. Östen Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Underdogs's Bruno Troiani. But to his dismay, Bruno Troiani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Cimino, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Troiani in the 63rd minute of play. Lennart Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Holmberg in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Underdogs's Niclas Törnqvist got a free kick in the 74th minute. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Ivar Wallengren was substituted for Östen Holmberg. The supporters of Wetterqvist Boys BK booed when FC Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Törnqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Kjell-Arne Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Browall was a little too slow when Sven-Erik Låsberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-3. 82 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Låsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Browall. FC Underdogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Erik Låsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Lennart Browall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timmy Bergfeldt in the 90th minute. Daniele Cimino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
