Hok's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Håkan Skoog took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ma Yong Jun to make any attempt to save it. Gergely Szűcs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Majak in the 14th minute of play. Lennart Brander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ma Yong Jun made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mecnun Erçelik got free with Ma Yong Jun in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th match minute, Hok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Skoog to maneuver through the defense. Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mecnun Erçelik in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Skoog got free with Ma Yong Jun in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Arvin Svanberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Szűcs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gergely Szűcs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvin Svanberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lennart Brander kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Arvin Svanberg made a precise shot to the right of Gergely Szűcs. Hok's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 39th minute Amadeo Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yong Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hok's Mecnun Erçelik got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Karen FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Slawomir Majak to strike the kick off in the second half. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mecnun Erçelik, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Hok's Gergely Szűcs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Hok from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the game, Hok's Håkan Skoog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ma Yong Jun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Arvin Svanberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gergely Szűcs came out and tried to block the shot, but Arvin Svanberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Karen FC's Slawomir Majak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gergely Szűcs. Gergely Szűcs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Slawomir Majak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergely Szűcs having to interfere. Karen FC's Bon Guidetti was substituted for Oskar Sandell. In the 86th minute, Slawomir Majak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hok getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lennart Brander hit a great ball. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Törnblom in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Hok got a freekick which was hit by Anton Bjursell. Karen FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
