Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lars-Erik Lindsten got the match started through his kick off. Pil SK's Lars-Erik Lindsten got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lars-Erik Lindsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Pil SK's Torbjörn Rosendal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Blanck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunnar Blomqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Blomqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, SouthSideStockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. If Torbjörn Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Henry Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rickard Blanck was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Torbjörn Rosendal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torbjörn Rosendal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, SouthSideStockholm's Rickard Blanck got control of the ball when Lars-Erik Lindsten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rickard Blanck came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Pil SK's Torbjörn Rosendal. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Rosendal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lars-Erik Lindsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute of the match Pil SK got a corner. SouthSideStockholm's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars-Erik Lindsten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henry Lund made a great header on Pil SK's corner, it was just that SouthSideStockholm's Rickard Blanck managed to reach the ball for a save. Rickard Blanck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Henry Lund fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pil SK's protests and gave Henry Lund a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SouthSideStockholm booed when Pil SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Lindell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Blomqvist in the 46th minute of the match. SouthSideStockholm's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lars-Erik Lindsten 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. Pil SK made a substitution. Tony Berglund replaced Torbjörn Rosendal. SouthSideStockholm made a substitution. Sixten Kruuse replaced Jimmy Wenerdahl. SouthSideStockholm made a substitution. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Blomqvist was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes, Lars-Erik Lindsten made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. SouthSideStockholm's Rickard Blanck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars-Erik Lindsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rickard Blanck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars-Erik Lindsten ran back to his position shaking his head. Lars-Erik Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rickard Blanck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Berglund in the 63rd minute of play. Tony Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Blanck having to interfere. Tony Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Peder Nordkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars-Erik Lindsten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickard Blanck having to make a save. Lars-Erik Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lars-Erik Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tony Berglund struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rickard Blanck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pil SK. Rickard Blanck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 91st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Lars-Erik Lindsten sped through SouthSideStockholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rickard Blanck. The Pil SK fans' excitement grew in the 99th match minute when Pil SK's Lars-Erik Lindsten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pil SK had played much better football throughout.
