Johan Johansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Bajen's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Bajen's Karl-Magnus Åkesson to fire away a dangerous shot which Carl Askelöf despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Daniel Åhman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bajen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boomerang Bombers the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Åhman to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajen's goalkeeper Nick Pope, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's Ture Jönsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nick Pope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boomerang Bombers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henry Tolsson in the 10th minute. Nick Pope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Högström in the 13th minute of play. Henry Tolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Boomerang Bombers from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Porto in the 25th minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Sidney Porto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Askelöf. Boomerang Bombers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidney Porto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Bajen getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fazıl Hüsnü Toygun hit a great ball. Ture Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ture Jönsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bajen's Jörn Palmkvist was substituted for Sidney Porto. After a rather tough play, Boomerang Bombers's Ture Jönsson got a free kick in the 37th minute. Carl Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Palmkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Palmkvist came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Boomerang Bombers defense, Jörn Palmkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carl Askelöf. The Boomerang Bombers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Askelöf should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Bernardo Caballero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Caballero was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Caballero in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Askelöf saved Boomerang Bombers from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Caballero came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Palmkvist in the 77th minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bajen's Jörn Palmkvist in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Caballero in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Askelöf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nick Pope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Carl Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Palmkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boomerang Bombers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bajen.
