With a little luck, Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander got control of the ball when Diego Buonanno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Football Club Kekke's Mai Namer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Josefsson in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Klas Josefsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mai Namer made a huge save. In the 53rd minute of the match Vilbergen Boys Club got a corner. Football Club Kekke's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egil Byström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ola Biörkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Football Club Kekke made a substitution. Isak Gustavsson replaced Robin Martinsson. The supporters of Football Club Kekke booed when Vilbergen Boys Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baal Garry didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Konstantinos Skaboulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Tunander came out of the goal and Erik Spets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ola Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nils Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Vilbergen Boys Club's goal looked a bit too open when Florens á Neystabø came free, but Nils Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Spets in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Football Club Kekke had won after a very even match.
