In the 21st minute, Diego Buonanno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Almkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Football Club Kekke's Mai Namer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Football Club Kekke from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Buonanno in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Almkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute of the match Football Club Kekke got a corner. Udinese's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Winström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Hugo Winström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Udinese's Dan Almkvist did a great save. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Florens á Neystabø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Almkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play.
