After having played for 7 minutes, Per Åberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Åberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Urdoi in the 8th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Sixten Apelqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alexander Kollberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sixten Apelqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixten Apelqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Free Kick, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Klemensson in the 19th minute of play forced Mightynes FC's goalkeeper Gunder Röd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Kollberg came free, but Sixten Apelqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunder Röd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Klemensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Olimpiu Urdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Apelqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Gunder Röd came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Sören Klemensson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Kollberg in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Apelqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the AC Milan defense, Free Kick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixten Apelqvist. The AC Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixten Apelqvist should have stopped the shot. Sixten Apelqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Urdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Urdoi in the 66th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Sixten Apelqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mightynes FC's Gunder Röd got control of the ball when Sören Klemensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sixten Apelqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Urdoi went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Bo Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gunder Röd made a huge save. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Mightynes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Kollberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Per Åberg in the 77th minute really tested Gunder Röd's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sixten Apelqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Kollberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Milan's Sixten Apelqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Kollberg in the 80th minute of play. Sixten Apelqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Free Kick went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Sixten Apelqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Free Kick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixten Apelqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Kollberg in the 92nd minute of the match. Gunder Röd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Mightynes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Åberg came free, but Gunder Röd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes Mightynes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per Åberg who took care of the corner kick. When the referee ended the match the Mightynes FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
