Despite this Sixten Apelqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sture Abrahamsson came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Robert Smitt. But to his dismay, Robert Smitt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Rolandsson in the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, AC Milan's Kurt Rolandsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sture Abrahamsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Rolandsson came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Rolandsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sture Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Håkansson. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Smitt in the 39th minute of play. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Rolandsson in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nytäppet Fc's zone, Kurt Rolandsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Abrahamsson came out of the goal and Kurt Rolandsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th match minute, Nytäppet Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Gerlach to maneuver through the defense. Sture Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Smitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

AC Milan's Sixten Apelqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 52nd minute of play. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Nytäppet Fc from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Filip Kling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Milan's Per Åberg was substituted for Kurt Rolandsson. Sixten Apelqvist had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Radomir Gerlach's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Giannis Chatziioannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sixten Apelqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sture Abrahamsson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Per Åberg sent off a good shot on target. Sture Abrahamsson was a little too slow when Rudolf Håning got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Milan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
